Dermot OBrien has a broad range of business experience starting from his early days in advertising with Collett, Dickenson, Pearce Advertising in London, England to working at a VC firm in Evanston, Illinois, Unilever in Connecticut, to management consulting in Dublin, Ireland and onto a 18-year career in real estate sales in Florida. He has also created four businesses.

With over $300 Million in sales on Singer Island, Florida since 2004 Dermot is the recipient of the International Property Magazine 2017-2018 Best Real Estate Agency, Florida Award, the International Property Magazine 2013-2014 Best Real Estate Agent Florida Award and the 2012 Ritz Carlton Residences Power Broker Award. He was selected as the 2010 & 2011 Unique Homes Magazine Singer Island market specialist, in addition to being a 2008, 2009 and 2010 Platinum Producer for Illustrated Properties Real Estate, Dermot is also the inventor of the Cloudmix App for Smart TVs and Mobile phones, the Irish web portal which was selected by Yahoo as one of the top three Irish websites in 2002 and the Novelfax line of personal organizers which was selected as one of the top new stationery products in the 1989 UK National Stationery Contest.

He has an MBA Degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University (with majors in marketing & strategy), an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree from University College Dublin (he came third in his class with majors in economics & geography), a Diploma from the British Chartered Institute of Marketing and he recently completed a Diploma in digital marketing at the Digital Marketing Institute. He is an Alumni of Catholic University College School (C.U.S.), Dublin, Ireland. With over 35 years of business experience in real estate sales, marketing, advertising, new product development and management consulting he continues to enjoy his entrepreneurial career path and is busy working on his next iteration.

Dermot is married to Georgia Heard and their son Leo recently graduated from Layola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
